Hannah Dickinson, the senior goalkeeper for Villanova’s women’s soccer team, has earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeepers to Watch list for the 2026 NCAA Division I season, a recognition that highlights her emergence as one of the nation’s most reliable net‑minders.
During the 2025 campaign Dickinson posted a .964 goals‑against average and a .802 save percentage while turning in 69 saves over 1,588 minutes of play. She started every match, helping the Wildcats secure nine clean sheets, eight of which were solo shutouts, and she ranked third in the league for goals‑against average and second for total saves.
Her performances earned her All‑BIG EAST Second Team and United Soccer Coaches All‑East Third Team honors, and she now sits fifth on Villanova’s single‑season shutout list with eight solo clean sheets. Nationally, those eight shutouts place her 33rd among all Division I goalkeepers.
Beyond the statistics, Dickinson’s leadership anchored a defense that consistently limited opponents, a factor that committee members cited when compiling their watch lists to generate excitement ahead of the season’s kickoff.
The Wildcats will begin their 2026 schedule on August 13 with an away match against Syracuse, a game that will serve as the first test of the season for Dickinson’s revitalized back line and will give fans an early glimpse of her readiness for the upcoming campaign.
