Virginia Cavaliers Sweep CSC At-Large Academic All-District Honors

Twelve student-athletes celebrated for top-tier scholarship and competition

The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has revealed its At-Large Academic All-District Team, a distinction that spotlights student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.

Excellence Recognized Across Divisions

To earn a place on the At-Large Academic All-District roster, candidates must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, be classified as sophomores or higher, and meet rigorous participation thresholds in their respective sports.

Among the honorees, six women represent the Cavaliers: Mia Abello, Lauren Kenah, Kennedy Swedick, Livy LaVerghetta, Alex Schneider, and Skylar Morrison. Their male counterparts, Ryan Colsey, Jake Marek, McCabe Millon, John Schroter, Griffin Gammell, and Michael Murphy, round out the twelve scholars celebrated this year.

The CSC Academic All-America program will next narrow these district selections to a national ballot, with first, second, and third-team honorees slated for announcement on July 7-8.

A Tradition of Scholar-Athlete Success

Virginia’s consistent presence on CSC lists reflects a broader institutional commitment to developing well-rounded leaders who thrive in both competition and scholarship.
