Volunteer Applications Open for 2028 Los Angeles Games
The organizing committee for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles announced that applications for Games‑time volunteers will open on July 14, 2026, inviting members of the public to join a global workforce that will help deliver the event.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, proficient in English and willing to commit to a minimum of ten non‑consecutive shifts, each approximately eight hours long, throughout the Games period.

Communications volunteers will ensure clear and effective information flow across all venues, while ceremonies volunteers will assist in preparing and executing the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Driving volunteers will manage the safe transport of accredited personnel between competition sites, hotels and airports, and operations volunteers will keep venue spaces clean, accessible and well organized.
Medical volunteers will deliver clinical care to athletes, team officials, workforce members and spectators, and sport volunteers will support field‑of‑play operations to maintain a safe and fair competition environment.
Technology volunteers will underpin the reliable delivery of digital and broadcast services, with some roles requiring specific experience in areas such as doping control, emergency response, language proficiency, medical training or security.
