The 2026 Volusia-Flagler All-Area flag football team was unveiled this week, spotlighting a season that saw Deltona finish with a staggering 20‑1 record and a string of championship trophies.
The Wolves’ dominance culminated in a hard‑fought loss to Miami Northwestern in the FHSAA Class 2A Final Four, a 40‑32 defeat that ended a 20‑0 run heading into the state semifinals.
Standout performances across the area
Terriana Ammons of Atlantic threw for 2,903 yards and 25 touchdowns, while Olivia Hall of Deltona amassed 1,140 receiving yards and 13 scores. Nadiyah Kwaku from Atlantic led the region with 1,316 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns, and Camora Pate added 1,206 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Wolves.
Jaliyah Peterson was the team’s top receiver with 1,262 yards and 14 touchdowns, and Ciara Ash contributed 1,027 yards and five scores. Molly Brock of New Smyrna Beach passed for 1,384 yards and 12 touchdowns, while Nereyda Campos of Flagler Palm Coast combined for 21 touchdowns as the Bulldogs’ quarterback.
Khloe Jackson of Spruce Creek guided the Hawks to a 10‑8 record with 2,945 yards and 21 touchdowns, and Victoria Singleton of New Smyrna Beach added 788 yards and nine scores. Natalie Williams of Mainland finished with 2,369 passing yards and a total of 23 touchdowns.
Frantashia Williams of Deltona was the centerpiece of the season, throwing for over 4,000 yards, rushing for 2,065 yards and accounting for 54 total touchdowns. Her all‑around brilliance earned her the Volusia‑Flagler area’s Player of the Year honor.
Coach Mayra Matos, who steered the Wolves to multiple championships and a 20‑0 record before the Final Four, was named Coach of the Year, underscoring the program’s sustained excellence.
The All-Area team also recognized athletes from Pine Ridge, Seabreeze and other local programs, reflecting the depth of talent across Volusia and Flagler counties.
