Wake Forest Bolsters Roster with Slovenian Swingman Lukas Bojovic
Wake Forest University announced that it has finalized its men’s basketball roster for the upcoming season, a move that adds a notable international presence to the squad.
Lukas Bojovic, a 6‑5 swingman from Slovenia, joins the Deacons after a standout stint with Partizan’s U19 side, where he posted averages of 22.8 points, 5.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds across 18 games.
His shooting efficiency was equally impressive, as he connected on 36 percent of his three‑point attempts while shooting 54 percent from the field in the 2026 Adidas NextGen EuroLeague Belgrade qualifier, earning a spot on the tournament’s All‑Team.
The coaching staff believes the addition provides a taller, more versatile option that should help tighten defense while also offering a new outlet for shot creation.
The roster now features seven transfers, two freshmen and Bojovic as the sole international prospect, positioning the Deacons to compete more aggressively in the ACC.
With point guard Kevair Kennedy expected to lead the backcourt, Bojovic is slated to operate behind him, offering a dynamic offensive skill set that can score from all three levels.
