Wake Forest’s 2026 men’s soccer signing class has been placed ninth in the nation by TopDrawerSoccer, a testament to the coaching staff’s ability to attract high‑caliber talent and to sustain the program’s upward trajectory.
A Mix of Experience and Fresh Faces
Head coach Bobby Muuss described the class as a blend of Division I readiness, professional academy pedigrees and international pedigree, noting that each newcomer brings a distinct character that can reshape the squad’s culture.
Among the newcomers, Will Kuisel arrives as the nation’s No. 55 recruit from FC Cincinnati Academy, while Miles Hadley, a defender who started every match at Army West Point, brings a record of eight clean sheets from his 2025 season.
Midfielder Marcos Miranda, the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Year, adds 11 goals and 11 assists from Spain, and Oliver Kurnik, who trained with Orange County SC’s first team, contributes MLS NEXT experience.
Goalkeeper Graham Syrett, developed in Charlotte FC’s academy and debuted with Crown Legacy in MLS NEXT Pro, is expected to compete for minutes between the posts.
The class also features Joby Reid, a New Zealand forward who earned the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year after scoring six goals and providing six assists, and Rooney Osei, whose stint with Asanska FC in Ghana gave him a distinctive international outlook.
Beyond individual stories, the class continues a streak of strong recruiting cycles for Wake Forest, having finished first, second, fourth, tenth and now ninth in the national rankings since 2021.
With more than 50 alumni turning professional since 2015, the program’s pipeline to the pro game appears robust, and the new cohort is poised to add to that legacy.
