The Western Iowa Metropolitan Athletic Conference (WAMAC) has announced its All-Division baseball teams for the season, highlighting the league’s top performers across both the East and West divisions.
Player of the Year: Luke Young
Clear Creek Amana’s Luke Young was crowned West Division player of the year after a standout campaign that saw him hit .392 with 16 extra‑base hits, score 32 runs and drive in 29 RBI.
Solon contributed eight athletes to the All‑Division list, including three first‑team selections — Dylan Gorham, Luke Deike and Luke Merrick — who each earned recognition for their offensive and pitching contributions.
Gorham batted .384 while crossing the plate 47 times and adding 11 RBI, Deike posted a .383 average with 39 RBI and a 2.72 ERA, and Merrick was a unanimous first‑team pick after hitting 11 home runs and delivering 43 RBI.
Clear Creek Amana placed seven players on the all‑division roster, highlighted by unanimous first‑team pitcher Blayne Roberts, who finished with a 1.56 ERA and 88 strikeouts, and second‑team members Alex DuBay, Silas Cobb and Texton Bollers.
Solon’s East Division second team included Tate Miller, who went 8‑0 with a 1.41 ERA and 59 strikeouts, as well as Maddox Kelley and Carson Kidwell, who combined for a .343 average, 46 runs scored and a .477 on‑base percentage.
Conference officials praised the depth of talent from both schools, noting that the selections reflect a competitive balance that should carry into the next season.
