Warriors Crush Bondurant-Farrar 5-0, Ascend to No. 1 in Class 2A

Hat trick by Tatum Miller and flawless defense highlight a commanding performance

A Dominant Performance

Norwalk’s girls soccer squad recorded its twelfth clean sheet of the campaign, downing Bondurant-Farrar 5-0 on Tuesday night and cementing its place at the summit of the Class 2A poll.

The victory improved the Warriors to 14-1-2 overall, a record that reflects both offensive firepower and a defense that has not allowed a goal in six consecutive matches.

Tatum Miller led the attack with a hat trick, while Olivia Welch and Avery Drymon also found the net. Assists from Addy Wood and Paige Nichols helped create a fluid, multi‑dimensional offense.

In goal, Katie Liedtke turned in a solid 71‑minute performance, making three saves to preserve the shutout and keep the team’s streak of clean sheets alive.

The Warriors now turn their attention to a regional semifinal scheduled for June 2, where they will meet either Creston or Knoxville in a bid to advance further.
