The 2026 high school baseball season in Washington has drawn to a close, and Prep Baseball Washington has unveiled its All‑State selections, dividing the honorees into 4A/3A first and second teams and a separate group for the 2A/1A/2B/1B classification.
Standout Performers
Christopher Moore of Kentlake led the offense with a .600 average, 37 hits and 15 extra‑base knocks while posting a 0.66 ERA on the mound, earning First Team honors and being named Washington Player of the Year.
Wyatt Plyler from Sumner slashed .407/.547/.630 at the plate and fanned 100 batters over 53.2 innings, while Eli Herst of Seattle Academy posted a .477/.558/.754 line and a 0.89 ERA with 98 strikeouts in 55.1 innings.
Michael Revell of Richland was recognized as the Mid‑Columbia Conference Pitcher of the Year after a 1.60 ERA across 52.2 innings, and James Gill III from Battle Ground captured the 4A GSHL Player of the Year award with a .643 slugging percentage and five homers.
Dominant Pitchers
Jake Cuda of Gig Harbor earned 3A NPSL MVP honors with a 0.55 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 38 innings, while Gunnar Schockelt from La Center combined a .458/.580/.729 slash with a 0.80 ERA over 55.2 innings. Trey Thompson of Bainbridge posted a 0.96 ERA in 44 innings and a .557 on‑base percentage with 14 RBI.
College Destinations
Several of the state’s top talents have pledged to continue their careers at major programs, including the University of Washington, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and Grand Canyon, signaling a strong pipeline of talent heading into the next level.
The breadth of talent extends beyond the highlighted names, with players such as Caden Grubb, Kolson Hendrickson, Dylan Hoots, Toren Crites, Grady Gallagher, Teddy Wieczorek, Tucker Grasser, Deker Bartell and Connor Coleman also earning recognition for their performances.
As the offseason begins, coaches and scouts alike will watch how these athletes develop, knowing that the 2026 All‑State cohort represents a deep and competitive pool ready to make an impact at the collegiate stage.
