Washington State’s women’s basketball program has released its 2026‑27 nonconference schedule, a 16‑game lineup that blends early road challenges with a series of home‑court opportunities.
The season opens with a pair of away games, beginning on November 2 at California and continuing on November 6 at Oregon. Those early contests are designed to test the Cougars against strong West Coast opponents before they settle into Pullman.
A highlight of the home portion arrives on November 17, when the Cougars host their in‑state rival, the Washington Huskies. The matchup is being promoted as a key early‑season showdown that could shape both teams’ momentum heading into conference play.
Key nonconference highlights
After the Huskies game, Washington State will enjoy a three‑game homestand against Idaho, Southern Utah and a second meeting with Washington. The stretch will be followed by participation in the Cancun Challenge over Thanksgiving, where the Cougars open against Kansas before the remainder of the tournament unfolds.
The schedule also includes a final nonconference road swing to the Hawk Classic in Philadelphia on December 20‑21. After returning home, the Cougars will host Cal State on December 30 before the Pac‑12 season officially begins in 2027. Season tickets for the entire campaign are now available.
