Washington University in St. Louis announced that Courtney Nall will begin her role as an assistant athletic trainer for the Bears on August 10, bringing a blend of clinical expertise and student support to the campus.

Nall arrives after a three‑year stint at Mars Hill University, where she served as the athletic trainer for football, women’s basketball and men’s basketball while also contributing to the Student Care Team and acting as Radiation Safety Officer.

Her tenure at Mars Hill was preceded by a year at the University of Louisville, where she worked with the rowing program, further honing her skills in injury prevention and performance conditioning.

A native of Chesterfield, Missouri, Nall holds a master’s degree in athletic training from Saint Louis University and a bachelor’s in exercise science from the University of Arkansas, where she competed as a Division I swimmer for the Razorbacks.

At Washington University, she will focus on supporting the women’s soccer, swimming and diving, and softball teams, integrating her background in student care and safety protocols into the Bears’ athletic programs.

University officials highlighted Nall’s comprehensive approach, noting that her experience with both clinical and administrative dimensions of athletic training positions her to enhance athlete wellbeing and team performance across multiple sports.
