West Coast Conference Launches Inaugural Basketball Road Show Across All Campuses

Seth Davis hosts live ESPN+ sessions, spotlighting program culture and recent postseason achievements

The West Coast Conference is set to embark on its first-ever Men’s and Women’s Basketball Road Show, a two‑day campus tour that will touch all ten of its full‑time member schools between September 8 and October 9.

A National Voice on ESPN+

Renowned analyst Seth Davis will front the live sessions, bringing his CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and The Athletic pedigree to each stop. On ESPN+, he will interview head coaches and two student‑athletes per team, capturing the unique culture and facilities of each program.

The initiative replaces the traditional media day format, moving the storytelling directly onto the campuses where fans can experience the atmosphere firsthand. By doing so, the conference hopes to generate richer narrative content and deepen engagement with coaches, athletes and the broader community.

The women’s basketball side of the story is particularly compelling. In the 2025 season the conference earned a record seven postseason selections, highlighted by WNIT Super 16 runs from Pepperdine and Portland, surpassing the previous high of six.

On the men’s side, the road show showcases a program that has become a fixture in the NCAA Tournament. Saint Mary’s secured its fifth straight bid, while Santa Clara earned its first appearance since 1996, and Seattle U advanced to the second round of the NIT.

Beyond the numbers, the tour aims to celebrate the distinct identities of each institution, giving each school a platform to present its facilities, coaching philosophy and student‑athlete experiences to a national audience.
