West Seattle Baseball is rolling out two fresh summer programs that promise both skill development and a return to the simple joy of neighborhood baseball.
Summer of Play in West Seattle
The highlight is the Bigfoot Baseball Camp, a week‑long, confidence‑building experience for children ages five through twelve. Running from August 10 to 14 at the West Seattle Pee Wee Baseball Fields, the camp is headed by former Stanford and professional player Sean Flikke. Campers will receive high‑quality instruction while also learning teamwork, character and the fundamentals of the game.
Adding to the excitement, Coach Ballgame is making his comeback to the Pee Wee Fields on August 30, bringing back the National Sandlot Tour — a nostalgic nod to the Old School Neighborhood baseball games of yesteryear. In this no‑pressure setting, each child will earn a nickname and hear inspirational stories about Baseball legends, creating a memorable summer experience.
