The 80th edition of the OVAC Rudy Mumley All-Star Football Game will light up Wheeling Island Stadium on Saturday night, with kickoff scheduled for 7:15 PM. West Virginia’s high school coaches have announced the defensive backs and wide receivers who will represent the state’s finest talent on the field.
A Star-Studded Lineup
The announcement underscores the depth of football prowess across the Mountain State, gathering prospects who have distinguished themselves through statistically dominant seasons and leadership on the gridiron. Among the selected athletes, several names stand out for their remarkable high school careers. Glenn Brown Jr., a prolific receiver for the Mohigans, logged 47.4 yards per catch and will continue his football journey at Glenville State University this fall.
Zaiiden Lockett, who amassed 50 tackles on defense, is also headed to Glenville State, bringing a blend of hard-hitting play and reliable hands to the next level. Isaac Sands, a career tackler with 215 stops, has committed to West Liberty University, where he hopes to add to his defensive legacy.
Logan Murray, who rushed for 1,372 yards and 16 touchdowns in his senior season, remains undecided about his college destination, keeping the recruiting picture open heading into the all-star game. Donte Masters, with 41 catches for 464 yards, will continue his education at Bethany College.
Finn Loy, an honorable-mention all-OVAC selection, is set to attend WVU-Parkersburg, while Cain Martin, a standout wide receiver for the Monarchs, will head to West Virginia Northern in the fall.
