2026 Schedule Unveiled
The Western Kentucky University women's soccer program has released its 2026 schedule, outlining a 16‑match regular season that includes eight home contests at the WKU Soccer Complex. The campaign begins with two exhibition fixtures in August against Murray State and Samford, before the first official match pits the Lady Toppers against Missouri on August 14.
The schedule follows a breakout 2025 season in which the team captured the Conference USA regular‑season title and finished with a 9‑5‑3 overall record, highlighted by a perfect 6‑0‑2 mark within league play.
Head coach Jason Neidell, who guided the squad to that success, was honored as Conference USA Coach of the Year for the fourth time in his 25‑year tenure at WKU.
Player Recognition
Individual accolades also arrived, with midfielder Georgia Liapis earning CUSA Midfielder of the Year and a spot on the All‑CUSA First Team, while freshman Makenna Egan was named Freshman of the Year and placed on the All‑CUSA Second Team. Defenders Maddie Davis and Abby Wiedermann additionally received All‑CUSA honors.
The Conference USA Tournament is slated for the week of November 8, with the event scheduled to be hosted by Delaware.
