Western Michigan University’s women’s basketball program has unveiled its 2026‑27 non‑conference schedule, a 12‑game slate that blends home‑court advantages with challenging road trips.
The Broncos will play 11 regular‑season contests and one exhibition match, splitting their duties evenly between six home games and six away games, while also traveling to a neutral‑site tournament before Thanksgiving.
Three of the opponents have recent pedigree in the Women’s Basketball Invitational or the Women’s National Invitation Tournament, and another trio reached their conference tournament semifinals or championship games, underscoring the competitiveness of the schedule.
The season opens with an exhibition against Division III powerhouse Adrian on October 28, followed by a home opener against Coastal Carolina on November 2 at Read Fieldhouse. A week later, Purdue Fort Wayne will visit for a November 10 showdown.
Road play begins with a trip to Dayton on November 15, then a home game against Milwaukee on November 20. The Broncos will then head to Cleveland State’s Viking Invite, facing Lindenwood on November 24 and Georgia Southern on November 25 in a back‑to‑back neutral‑site tournament.
