WIAC Baseball Teams Honored with ABCA Academic Excellence Award
Five baseball programs from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have been named recipients of the American Baseball Coaches Association’s Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2025‑26 academic year.
The recognition, announced by Sports Attack, celebrates teams that achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale, underscoring the academic rigor expected of student‑athletes.
The honored programs are the University of Wisconsin‑Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin‑Platteville, University of Wisconsin‑River Falls, University of Wisconsin‑Stout Polytechnic, and University of Wisconsin‑Whitewater.
