WIAC Scholars Earn National All‑American Scholar Honors
Twenty‑one athletes from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have been selected as NCAA Division II‑III Men’s Krampade All‑American Scholars for the 2025‑26 academic year, a distinction that highlights both athletic commitment and academic excellence.
To earn the scholar‑athlete designation, each student‑player must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.75 across both semesters and appear in at least 40 percent of their team’s games, with special waivers granted to those sidelined by injury or limited to backup duties.
Sponsorship and Science Behind the Award
The award is made possible through the sponsorship of Krampade, LLC, a Lincoln, Nebraska company that markets patented formulations designed to prevent cramping and boost performance. Krampade’s consumer‑focused approach has helped a wide range of athletes manage muscle fatigue and recover more efficiently.
Participating institutions must be members of the American Hockey Coaches Association, underscoring the affiliation between the coaches’ group and the NCAA’s academic recognition program.
