Wilson Senior Michael Glover Commits to James Madison University

The versatile tight end joins a Dukes program fresh off a College Football Playoff run, bringing high expectations for the 2026 season.

Michael Glover, a senior at Wilson High School in Harrisonburg, Virginia, has officially committed to James Madison University, choosing the Dukes over a crowded field of more than twenty Division I programs.

Versatility Defines Glover’s Game

During his junior year Glover posted 572 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 35 receptions, complemented by 216 rushing yards and two touchdowns. On defense he recorded 44 tackles and three sacks, illustrating a rare blend of size, speed, and playmaking ability.

He will be joined at Wilson by Justice Hardy, who has already pledged to Louisville, while longtime coach Doug Dahms will see his offense bolstered by a group of emerging playmakers for the 2026 season.

Glover’s decision not only reinforces JMU’s recent College Football Playoff pedigree but also signals a continued pipeline of talent from the Virginia high school ranks, a trend that could shape the Dukes’ competitive outlook in the coming years.
