Quarterback Battle
Colton Joseph is slated to start at quarterback for the opening game, but the position remains a focal point of competition as Ryan Hopkins fights for the backup role against Louisville transfer Deuce Adams.
At running back, the top three candidates — Abu Sama, Darrion Dupree and Bryan Jackson — are expected to share carries, giving the Badgers a deep and versatile ground attack.
