The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association will host its 78th annual baseball state tournament from June 15 through June 18 at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute. The event gathers 20 high school teams competing across four divisions, each structured to showcase the state’s top talent.
Divisions and Team Count
Division 1 features eight schools, while Divisions 2, 3, and 4 each include four participants. This format allows a compact yet competitive field, giving each team a chance to contend for a championship in its respective class.
Ticket Pricing and Broadcast
Fans can purchase tickets at $11 per session or $20 for an all‑day pass that also covers online viewing fees. The championship finals will be televised on WIAA State Television Stations and streamed online, ensuring that viewers across the state can follow the action in real time.
Historic Powerhouses
Sun Prairie holds the record with nine state titles, followed by Appleton West with seven. Last year’s Division 1 champions, Muskego, secured a 5‑4 victory, while Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic, the defending Division 3 champion, enters the tournament as the second seed after moving up a division.
Rising Contenders
St. Croix Falls, the top seed in Division 3, returns to the state stage for the first time since capturing the title in 2023. Columbus Catholic makes its second appearance after a decisive win over Rib Lake in the Rosholt Sectional, and Reedsville earns its inaugural berth by defeating Barneveld in the sectional final.
With a blend of seasoned programs and fresh faces, the tournament promises dramatic moments and a celebration of high school baseball across Wisconsin.
