WKU Soccer has released its 2026 schedule, outlining a 16-match regular season that begins with two exhibition fixtures before the team opens its official campaign at home against Missouri on August 14.
A milestone season for the Hilltoppers
The Hilltoppers finished the previous year with a 9-5-3 overall record and went unbeaten in Conference USA play at 6-0-2, securing the program’s fourth regular-season championship in the league.
Coaching excellence recognized
Head coach Jason Neidell was honored as Conference USA Coach of the Year for the fourth time, underscoring his impact on the team’s resurgence.
Among the standout performers, Georgia Liapis earned Midfielder of the Year and first-team all-conference recognition, while Makenna Egan became the first player in program history to capture Freshman of the Year.
Additional accolades went to Alyvia Walls, Abby Wiedermann and Maddie Davis, each receiving All-Conference selections after delivering decisive goals, including a late winner against Louisiana Tech and a go-ahead strike versus Missouri State.
The upcoming schedule features eight home contests at the WKU Soccer Complex, free admission for all matches, and a Conference USA Tournament slated for the week of November 8, which will be hosted by Delaware.
With a blend of experienced leadership and fresh talent, the Hilltoppers look to translate their recent success into another competitive season.
