Season Kickoff Set for August 1
The Women’s Pro Baseball League (WPBL) has opened ticket sales for its inaugural 2026 season, marking a historic moment for professional women’s baseball in the United States. Fans can purchase season tickets immediately, while group and flex packages will become available on June 2, and individual game tickets on June 11.
The regular season will consist of 30 games, with each of the four franchised teams — based in New York, Boston, San Francisco and Los Angeles — playing a 15‑game schedule. Playoffs are slated to begin on September 9, culminating in the championship series on September 16.
Apparel and Opening Weekend Highlights
Alongside ticket announcements, the league is rolling out its Statement Collection apparel line, branded "We Play Hardball," which will be bundled with each ticket package. Opening weekend will showcase a marquee matchup featuring Team USA standouts Denae Benites and Kylee Lahners from New York against a Los Angeles lineup that includes Mo'ne Davis, Ashton Lansdell and Ayami Sato.
WPBL Commissioner Justine Siegal described the launch as "an invitation for fans to claim their spot in history," emphasizing the league’s ambition to grow the sport and provide a platform for elite female athletes.
