Wooster Daily Record Unveils 2026 All‑Area Baseball Team
The annual All‑Area baseball team, compiled by the Wooster Daily Record, celebrates the most impactful players from schools across the region for the 2026 season. Selections were drawn from multiple divisions, with each honoree recognized for statistical excellence, leadership and contribution to their respective squads.
Among the honorees, Central Christian’s Bryan Martin earned a place on the Division VII Northeast District First Team and the Mid‑Buckeye Conference First Team, while teammate Grayden Miller received an Honorable Mention from the district and a spot on the MBC First Team. Grady Monigold of Hiland stood out as Division VI All‑Ohio Player of the Year and also captured the Division VI East District Player of the Year award.
Other notable selections include Kael Lewis and Knox Lewis from Hillsdale, both named to the Division VI Northeast District First Team and the WCAL First Team. Cameron Kraft and Kellen Wayt from Orrville were recognized on the Division IV Northeast District First Team and the PAC First Team, while Spencer Welch and Odin Weirick of Rittman earned similar district and conference accolades.
The roster also features Jax Riggenbach, Mason Shutt and Ben Beichler from Smithville, with Riggenbach and Shutt making the WCAL First Team and Beichler landing on the WCAL Second Team. Braylen Miller, Josh Stoner, Luke Starr, Cam Stevens, Parker Reinhart, Landon Gannet and Cam Miller from Triway and Tuslaw were acknowledged across Division V and V Northeast District teams, with several earning All‑Ohio honors.
Additional recognitions went to Logan Troyer and Brayden Steiner of Waynedale, Jordan Miller of West Holmes, Brock Gallion of West Holmes, Maddox Graser and Brian Lapp of Wooster, as well as Nick Rider and Brock Bowen. These athletes helped shape a competitive season and highlighted the depth of talent throughout the area.
