2026 Season Kickoff
The University of Wyoming Cowboys have officially released the full slate of games for the 2026 season, giving fans a clear picture of what to expect on the gridiron.
The season will open on September 5 at 4 p.m. local time, when Wyoming travels to face Colorado State, a matchup that will be carried live on USA Network.
Overall, the Cowboys will appear on national television ten times throughout the year, highlighted by three Friday night contests that are slated for October 9 against San Jose State, October 23 versus Air Force and November 20 against New Mexico.
Home games will be played against Northern Colorado, Hawai'i, Northern Illinois, Air Force, New Mexico and UConn, providing a blend of regional rivals and non‑conference opponents.
Road trips will take Wyoming to Central Michigan, North Dakota State, San Jose State, UNLV and UTEP, ensuring a varied competitive environment.
The Mountain West Football Championship is set for December 4 at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on FOX, capping a busy postseason for the program.
