EA Sports is set to launch College Football 27 on July 9, bringing the popular franchise back to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC after a long absence.
Rating Highlights
The rating algorithm gave Atkins a 94 in awareness, the highest among his attributes, underscoring the mental sharpness that coaches have praised throughout his sophomore campaign.
During his second year at LSU, Atkins started 12 games, posting 84 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and nine sacks, numbers that earned him first‑team All‑SEC honors from the AP, coaches and several national outlets.
His performance also secured second‑team All‑America recognitions from the AFCA, Phil Steele and Walter Camp, cementing his status as one of the nation’s top linebackers.
After a limited role at LSU, Atkins transferred to Auburn, where he is expected to lead a revamped defense and bring a veteran presence to the Tigers' front seven.
A native of Houston, Texas, Atkins was a four‑star recruit out of Summer Creek High School, a path that has seen him evolve from a promising prospect to a collegiate standout.
Fans can look forward to seeing his rating reflected in the game’s gameplay when College Football 27 drops on July 9.
