Carrolltown native brings collegiate experience and academic accolades to the OHL

Brantford Bulldogs Welcome New Forward Xavier Lieb

Xavier Lieb, a native of Carrolltown, Pennsylvania, has officially joined the Brantford Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League, marking the next step in a promising junior career.

The forward arrives after a standout season with the Dubuque Fighting Saints, where he recorded 27 points in 52 games and earned a place on the 2025‑26 USHL All‑Academic Team.

Before that, Lieb honed his game with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite AAA program, posting 78 points in 61 contests during his 15U season and adding 67 points in 40 games the following year.

General Manager Spencer Hyman praised the young centreman, describing him as a dynamic playmaker with elite vision and reliability across all zones.

Hyman highlighted Lieb’s skill level, puck‑handling vision and work ethic, noting that the forward should provide a significant boost to the Bulldogs’ offensive depth.

Off the ice, Lieb’s academic achievements complement his athletic performance, reinforcing the Bulldogs’ commitment to developing well‑rounded student‑athletes.
