A fresh start for Forest Hills Eastern basketball
The Forest Hills Eastern Hawks have announced Zac Clark as their new boys varsity basketball coach, replacing Scott McCorkle who served only one year. The appointment comes as the program looks to rebound from a difficult 2-21 season and to harness the enthusiasm of a community eager for stability.
Clark arrives with a solid playing pedigree, having starred at Concordia University for four seasons before transitioning into coaching. He spent a year as the Concordia JV coach and the past two seasons as an assistant under Jordan George at Forest Hills Central, gaining valuable experience in player development and game strategy.
Beyond the court, Clark works as a physical education teacher at Grand River Prep High School, a role that has allowed him to connect with local youth and promote athletic participation across the region. His dual responsibilities reflect a commitment to both education and sport.
