The deal brings live matches, highlights and dedicated programming to Zee5 and Unite8 Sports, while fueling grassroots football development.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises has secured exclusive broadcast and digital rights to the Bundesliga in India for a five‑year term, with the partnership kicking off with the 2026‑27 season.

Matches, highlights and dedicated shoulder programming will be available to Indian viewers on Zee5, the company's streaming platform, as well as on its Unite8 Sports television channel.

Grassroots Vision

To mark the alliance, Zee will launch Z X Bundesliga Football Week, a series of football clinics and development programmes aimed at identifying and nurturing young talent across the country.

The initiative builds on Zee's pledge to allocate 15 percent of Zee5’s soccer‑related subscription revenue toward talent scouting, training and upliftment.

Bundesliga’s fan base in India has surged by more than 50 percent over the past four seasons, reflecting growing appetite for the league’s passionate culture and world‑class clubs.

Peer Naubert, chief commercial officer of Bundesliga Media, highlighted the importance of sustained local engagement and investment in football development in India.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises operates in more than 190 countries, reaching over 1.4 billion people worldwide, underscoring the scale of the new partnership.
