Bell County mourns loss of wrestling coach Ovie Canady
Ovie Canady, the 51‑year‑old wrestling coach for Bell County, died earlier this week. He was the district’s first wrestling head coach, previously led football programs at Evarts and Perry County Central, and amassed 200 career wrestling wins.
