Carson Long Earns Top Honors as Small School Baseball Player of the Year
Carson Long, a freshman at St. Francis Catholic, was named the Sun’s Small School Baseball Player of the Year after a season that saw him dominate both hitting and pitching, lead his team to a district championship and a postseason win, and also excel on the football field. Coach Jiwan James of Union County was honored as Coach of the Year after guiding his squad to a state title.
