Barrie to Host New MLS NEXT Pro Stadium as Toronto FC II Relocates
The City of Barrie, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, MLS NEXT Pro and Barrie Stadium Group have unveiled plans to move Toronto FC II to Barrie beginning in the 2028‑2029 season, accompanied by a new stadium that will host matches, concerts and local events while strengthening the region’s soccer ecosystem.
