Regions Arena Set to Open in 2027 as Mobile Revives Hockey Legacy
Construction crews have been working non-stop on the new Regions Arena in Mobile, Alabama, as the project moves toward its next milestone. Vertical construction was completed in March, and the facility was officially named Regions Arena in April. The $300 million arena is slated to open its doors in January 2027, promising a versatile venue for concerts, Mardi Gras celebrations and a new professional hockey franchise.
