Curtis Johnson Transitions to Sumter as East Clarendon Names Interim Coach
Curtis Johnson has resigned as baseball head coach and athletic director at East Clarendon High School to take a similar role at Sumter. The school has appointed Larry Cornelius as interim athletic director while Will McMillan returns as head coach. The baseball team finished 23‑10, captured the AA lower state championship, and earned multiple all‑state honors. Other sports and track athletes also posted notable achievements.
