Syracuse University announced Thursday that four-star wide receiver Chanin Harris has pledged to the Orange, choosing the Atlantic Coast Conference program over several Power Five rivals. The commitment adds a highly ranked talent to a 2027 class that now stands at 15 verbal pledges and is ranked No. 32 by 247Sports and No. 37 by Rivals.

Edan Richardson, a 6‑foot‑4, 265‑pound defensive lineman from Archbishop McCarthy High School, has verbally committed to Syracuse, adding a powerful piece to the Orange's 2027 roster.

More than a dozen prospects from the 2027 recruiting class are set to arrive on campus this weekend, with at least 17 expected to tour Syracuse University between May 29 and May 31. The visits come as the Orange hold 13 verbal pledges and sit No. 22 nationally in the class rankings.
