Women’s Pro Baseball League Unveils Inaugural Teams Honoring Trailblazing American Women
The WPBL’s first season will feature teams called the San Francisco Firebells, New York Heights, Los Angeles Queens and Boston Hunters, each inspired by pioneering women such as Lillie Hitchcock Coit, Dorothy Height, Harriot Kezia Hunt and Lizzie Murphy.
