Robert Garrett’s 37‑Year Tenure at Crenshaw High Ends in Administrative Leave
After 37 seasons, Robert Garrett, who led Crenshaw High to seven City titles and 300 wins, was placed on administrative leave in August 2025 and reassigned to teach at Dodman Middle School. His departure, alongside that of longtime colleague Angelo Gasca, leaves the City Section without two of its most seasoned coaches.
