Aiken Considers Doubling Hospitality Tax to Fund Soccer Complex and Other Projects
Aiken officials are exploring a hike in the local hospitality tax from 1% to 2%, a move that could generate $2.5 million each year for a new soccer complex partnered with the Aiken Futbol Club, as well as upgrades such as a Hotel Aiken parking garage and additional pickleball courts.
