Providence High School secured a 6-0 victory in Game 2 of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 8A baseball championship series, extending their lead over Corinth Holders. The Panthers opened with three runs and added solo homers from Jaxon Haynes and Jack Pejot, while Corinth Holders had previously snapped the Panthers’ 29‑game win streak with a 4-3 win in Game 1.
