A New Chapter for the Vikings
The Northwest Vikings football program has named Kyle Carder as its new head coach, marking the first change in leadership in sixteen years. Carder, previously an assistant under Stein, emphasizes steady progress and process over immediate results, while senior player Zane Herb highlights the coach’s structured approach. The team opens the season at home against the defending state champions, the Waverly Vikings.
