NASCAR has announced a partnership with the legendary rock group the Rolling Stones that will roll out ahead of the band’s upcoming 25th studio album, Foreign Tongues, scheduled for release this Friday.
The collaboration is visualized in a music video for the album’s lead single, “In The Stars,” which casts three of NASCAR’s rising talents — Connor Zilisch, Carson Hocevar and Jesse Love — as members of a touring rock band. The clip captures the drivers clowning around during a photo shoot, playing cards, stopping at a bar, and ultimately signing autographs at a racetrack, all while the Stones’ iconic tongue‑and‑lips logo looms in the background.
Merchandise and Vinyl Tie‑In
Alongside the video, the partnership will be celebrated with a limited‑edition merchandise collection that features the Stones’ tongue‑and‑lips emblem alongside NASCAR branding, as well as two special vinyl pressings of Foreign Tongues that carry a NASCAR theme. Megan Malayter, vice president of licensing and consumer products for NASCAR, said the band’s cross‑generational appeal makes the alliance a natural fit for reaching both longtime racing enthusiasts and younger fans.
Connor Zilisch, who has long been a self‑described music aficionado, revealed that the project deepened his appreciation for the Stones’ catalog. Filming the video proved to be a memorable experience, he said, noting that dressing up and stepping onto a set felt like stepping back into a different era of entertainment.
The activation also made use of a custom‑built NASCAR show car that served as a listening lounge during events in Chicago, giving fans a chance to preview the new tracks in a setting that blended racing heritage with rock‑and‑roll culture. Executives say the effort is part of a broader strategy to keep the sport relevant to older audiences while expanding its footprint among younger, music‑driven demographics.
