The University of Tennessee will open its fall training camp on August 5, marking the official start of preparation for the 2026 football season.
Fall Camp Begins
Among the roster, four student‑athletes will be in their fifth year of eligibility, including Hunter Barnes, Bennett Brady, Josh Turbyville and Jackson Ross, while ten others will be in their fourth season.
Veterans Lead the Charge
The Volunteers will be represented at the SEC media days in Tampa, Florida, by senior standouts DeSean Bishop, Arion Carter and Jeremiah Telander, who will join conference officials at the JW Marriott and Tampa Marriott Water Street.
Carter, who has logged 31 games from 2023 to 2025, recorded 161 tackles and 13.5 tackles for loss, while Bishop rushed for 256 yards and 19 touchdowns over the same span. Telander added 158 tackles and 12 tackles for loss across 39 appearances.

Depth and Future Outlook
Beyond the veterans, a host of other players are entering their fourth year, including Ethan Davis, Daevin Hobbs, Tyree Weathersby, Nathan Robinson, Jack‑Henry Jakobik, Nathan Roberts and Shamurad Umarov, all of whom are expected to contribute on both sides of the ball.
