NASCAR Returns to Amazon Prime for Five High‑Profile Races

Former champions and rising stars bring analysis to a limited‑time broadcast experiment

NASCAR Returns to Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime Video will begin streaming a curated selection of NASCAR Cup Series events starting later this month, marking the first time the streaming platform carries the stock car circuit in the United States.

The agreement covers five races — Charlotte, Nashville, Michigan, Pocono and San Diego — and will run through June 21, after which the arrangement may be extended. Each event will feature a rotating lineup of former drivers who will join the studio desk to provide analysis and insider perspective.

Analysts and Their Assignments

Among the analysts slated to appear are Jeff Gordon, a nine‑time road‑course winner and current Vice Chairman of Hendrick Motorsports, who will be on the desk for the San Diego race. Carl Edwards will contribute his insights during the Charlotte event, Mark Martin will appear in Nashville, Martin Truex Jr. will be featured in Michigan, and Brad Keselowski will serve as the sole active driver on the Pocono broadcast.

The roster also includes Danielle Trotta, Corey LaJoie, Adam Alexander, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Steve Letarte, bringing a total of 13 personalities to the commentary booth. Their diverse backgrounds aim to deepen viewer engagement and offer a fresh take on the sport’s evolving narrative.

Beyond the scheduled races, the partnership reflects Amazon’s broader strategy to expand its sports‑content portfolio. By integrating former competitors into the broadcast, the company hopes to attract both longtime fans and newcomers, potentially paving the way for a more permanent presence in the NASCAR schedule.
