NASCAR Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2027
NASCAR revealed on Tuesday that the Class of 2027 will welcome three drivers and a pioneering figure into its Hall of Fame, with the ceremony set for January 22, 2027, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Kevin Harvick, a four‑time Cup Series champion, topped the Modern Era ballot with 92 percent of the vote, while Jeff Burton, a veteran driver‑turned‑analyst, earned 32 percent on the same slate. Larry Phillips, a trailblazer of the sport’s early era, secured 38 percent of the Pioneer ballot, rounding out the driver selections.
Lesa France Kennedy, the longtime chair of the board, received the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR, recognizing her role in shaping the series’ growth and governance.
Induction Details and Legacy
The selection process drew input from a diverse panel that included NASCAR officials, Hall of Fame members, track owners, journalists and fan voters, ensuring a broad‑based decision.
Tickets for the induction ceremony will go on sale June 10 through the official site NASCARHall.com, giving fans the chance to attend the celebration in person.
The upcoming induction promises to blend nostalgia with anticipation, as the sport reflects on the legacies of Harvick, Burton, Phillips and Kennedy while charting its next chapter.
