Chandler Smith to headline Bristol Motor Speedway’s media tour in Chattanooga

The NASCAR Truck Series driver will meet fans, preview the UNOH 250 and throw a ceremonial first pitch during a busy weekend of events

NASCAR’s rising star Chandler Smith is set to bring his high‑octane presence to Chattanooga on August 6, 2026, as part of Bristol Motor Speedway’s “Chase Day” media tour that precedes the Bass Pro Shops Night Race weekend.

Fan‑focused festivities

The Craftsman Truck Series driver will appear at Food City on Broad Street, where he will greet fans beginning around 4 p.m., sign autographs and enjoy a Bristol‑themed cake slice courtesy of the grocery chain.

Smith, who pilots the No. 38 Ford for Front Row Motorsports, is currently third in the points standings after capturing two victories this season, including a July win at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

During his stop in Chattanooga he will also preview the UNOH 250 presented by Ohio Logistics, a race where he has already tasted success on the half‑mile Bristol track.

After the fan event, Smith will head to AT&T Field to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Chattanooga Lookouts face the Knoxville Smokies, adding a baseball‑themed flourish to a busy weekend.
