At just 18 years old, Carson Brown is set to step onto the track at Iowa Speedway this weekend, marking his first appearance in a NASCAR national series event.
A Milestone Moment
The Richard Childress Racing development driver has spent the past few years climbing through dirt Late Models, Super Late Models and the ARCA Menards Series, honing a skill set that caught the eye of team owner Jordan Anderson.
Jordan Anderson, whose eponymous racing outfit will field the No. 32 Chevrolet for Brown, said the youngster has earned the opportunity through consistent performance and professional conduct.
Brown will also contest the ARCA Menards Series race at Iowa the night before his O'Reilly Auto Parts debut, using the extra laps to familiarize himself with the 0.5‑mile oval.
The partnership includes O'Reilly Auto Parts, Chevrolet, Bommarito Autosport and Distributor Wire & Cable, each bringing technical and logistical support to the program.
Industry observers such as FOX Sports reporter Bob Pockrass note that if Austin Hill moves to the Cup Series, Brown could become a leading candidate for a full‑time O'Reilly Series seat with Hendrick Motorsports in 2027.
Beyond the track, Brown credits his mentors and the multiple teams he has driven for — including Jordan Anderson Racing and Bommarito Autosport — for preparing him for this career milestone.
