JR Motorsports, the NASCAR Xfinity program headed by Dale Earnhardt Jr., has turned the 2024 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series into a showcase of consistency and speed, capturing 14 victories from the 22 races held so far.
At the center of the effort is Justin Allgaier, who has already added six of those wins to his résumé and sits atop the championship standings with a 265‑point cushion over teammate Carson Kvapil. The driver, who celebrated his 40th birthday earlier this season, has turned the milestone into a platform for continued success.
The team’s streak of at least one top‑10 finish now stretches to 79 consecutive races, a run that ties the historic mark set by Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing. The next chance to extend the run comes at Iowa Speedway, where the HyVee Perks 250 will test whether the momentum can survive the upcoming weekend.
Carson Kvapil’s breakthrough came at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where his first career victory helped JRM lock all four top‑spot positions in a single event — a first for the O’Reilly‑branded series. The performance underscored the depth of talent within the organization.
Beyond the driver lineup, four of the team’s five cars have reached victory lane, and six of its twelve drivers have stood on the podium. Crew chief Andrew Overstreet leads the competition with six wins of his own, highlighting the collaborative strength that fuels the campaign.
Looking ahead, Allgaier, who had previously hinted at retirement after the current season, has revised his plans, opting to remain with JR Motorsports through 2027 and beyond, a decision that promises to keep the team at the forefront of the series.
