A Historic Class
NASCAR has revealed the members of its 2027 Hall of Fame, confirming that veteran driver Kevin Harvick, former champion Jeff Burton and trailblazing team owner Larry Phillips will be enshrined.
The selection process placed Harvick and Burton on the Modern Era ballot, where Harvick captured 92 percent of the 50 votes, while Burton earned support from 16 voters, translating to roughly 32 percent of the tally. Larry Phillips, meanwhile, dominated the Pioneer ballot with 38 percent of the vote, the highest figure among all candidates.
Ceremony Set for Charlotte
The induction ceremony is slated for January 22, 2027, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, bringing together fans, media and industry leaders for a celebration of the sport’s most influential figures.
Harvick’s near‑unanimous support reflects his dominance across more than 400 Cup Series starts, while Burton’s steady presence on the ballot underscores his lasting impact as a driver‑turned‑analyst and ambassador. Phillips’ pioneering contributions as a team owner have opened pathways for countless competitors, making his inclusion a milestone for the sport’s evolution.
