The fifth edition of JLab Playmakers has officially launched, bringing together standout college football players from a dozen powerhouse programs. Boise State Athletics announced the collaboration with JLab, a leading audio brand, to showcase the athletes as they compete, train and engage fans across the country.
Among the selected athletes is Maddux Madsen, Boise State’s quarterback, who will represent the Broncos in the JLab Playmakers roster for the 2026‑27 season. Madsen’s inclusion underscores the Broncos’ growing presence in a national spotlight that extends beyond the field.
The campaign blends on‑field performance with off‑field storytelling, featuring JLab’s lineup of headphones, earbuds and speakers that accompany athletes during preparation and competition. A new JLab Jukebox lets fans vote for game‑day songs, while volleyball‑focused social content highlights pivotal plays.
The roster also includes athletes from Arkansas, Houston, Indiana, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt and Washington, forming a diverse group of student‑athletes who are leveraging JLab’s NIL platform to amplify their personal brands. Learfield’s media and technology expertise secures the intellectual property rights for the participating universities, ensuring a seamless integration of sponsor content.
A National Platform for Student‑Athletes
Terra Teat, JLab’s chief marketing officer, emphasized that high‑performance technology is essential for athletes’ preparation, competition and celebration. Landon Day, Boise State’s vice president and general manager of Bronco Sports Properties, added that the partnership expands the reach of Bronco student‑athletes, creating new engagement opportunities for partners nationwide.
