From June 12 to July 19, live World Cup viewings will be staged at multiple locations throughout the metro area, allowing fans to gather in parks, bars, and community centers to share the excitement of each match.
Cultural programming includes an exhibit at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights that explores the intersection of soccer and social justice, while Emory University’s Robert W. Woodruff Library will present a showcase on the sport’s influence on Atlanta’s history.
The Atlanta History Center will host an immersive installation designed for children to dress up as players and learn about the game’s heritage in an interactive setting.
